Christopher M. Kube is an Associate Professor at Penn State, affiliated with Engineering Science and Mechanics and Acoustics. His research investigates ultrasound propagation and scattering in heterogeneous and microstructured materials.

His interests span physical acoustics, nonlinear acoustics in solids, acoustics-based materials characterization, and ultrasonic nondestructive evaluation. Material systems include polycrystalline media, composites, metamaterials, and polymers, with applications in microstructure characterization, structural health assessment, and additive manufacturing.
